DESCRIPTION:
Strife: Veteran Edition revisits a 1996 game that combines first-person shooting with a broader role-playing structure. As a resistance fighter, you cooperate with allies to weaken the fanatical Order from within, making interaction and objectives part of the campaign rather than simply fighting everything encountered. The revised release updates display options and lighting while retaining the older game's identity. Objective markers improve navigation, and completed features restore elements that were unfinished in the original. Its appeal comes from experiencing an early attempt to connect a shooter’s immediate action with a world shaped by factions and a continuing narrative. The revolution depends on understanding whom to help as well as whom to oppose.
