DESCRIPTION:
Revisit Sonic’s early adventures through remastered versions of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD, alongside twelve Game Gear titles. Classic mode preserves the original presentation and limited lives, while Anniversary mode offers widescreen play with unlimited lives for a more forgiving return. Sonic, Tails and Knuckles are joined by Amy Rose as playable characters across the main classics, opening different ways to approach familiar zones. Missions and challenges unlock additional content, including music and behind-the-scenes material. New animated sequences link the collection’s presentation while the games retain their focus on momentum, exploration and rapid side-scrolling platforming.
