DESCRIPTION:
A tiny bird takes up skateboarding to help its overworked human friend rediscover something enjoyable. SkateBIRD turns household clutter into miniature skateparks, using objects such as staplers, straws, cardboard and tape as ramps, obstacles and grind lines. Learn tricks and find routes suited to a skater whose world is built from things normally sitting on a desk. Growing attention brings other birds, new parks and further opportunities to develop the community around the hobby. The story keeps its goals deliberately warm and modest, making trying again after an awkward attempt part of the appeal. Helping Big Friend begins with a very small skateboard and some persistent enthusiasm.
