Kazuma Kiryu returns hoping for a quiet future, only to find Haruka in a coma after an accident and her young son Haruto without protection. Taking the child to Onomichi, he investigates the life Haruka led there and the criminal interests now pursuing the boy. Yakuza 6: The Song of Life connects street fighting and city exploration with questions about family, responsibility and the people hidden within familiar organisations. New allies help Kiryu navigate the local underworld while tensions involve both the Tojo Clan and Yomei Alliance. The adventure follows his determination to protect Haruto even when doing so means returning to the world he tried to leave.
