DESCRIPTION:
Direct a team of worms through turn-based battles using an arsenal that mixes familiar explosives with absurd weapons such as French Sheep Strike. Terrain, wind and the position of both teams influence each decision, turning a simple attack into a calculation about angle, safety and the possibility of retaliation. Anniversary Edition revisits the 1999 game with display updates, an interactive documentary and a timeline museum explaining the series’ development. It also includes a playable handheld version for comparison. Single-player challenges and a campaign of more than forty missions provide further goals, while custom voice banks preserve the comic personality that sits beside the surprisingly precise tactical contests.
