DESCRIPTION:
Former fighter Alta manages a tea shop in a magical forest, although she would much rather leave than accept the quiet routine. Grow and harvest ingredients, then use an unusual brewing contraption to prepare drinks suited to visiting customers. Their stories provide opportunities to listen, while time between arrivals can be spent tidying, decorating or simply sitting with a cup and a thought. The narrative adventure makes patience part of the task rather than treating constant expansion as its only goal. Alta’s discomfort connects the practical rituals of serving tea with a story about change, asking what happens when someone used to pushing forward is required to remain still.
