Game Description

Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion is the final entry in Acclaim’s original Turok trilogy, continuing the dark, sci-fi adventure of the Turok legacy. Picking up after the events of Turok 2: Seeds of Evil, the story follows the aftermath of Joshua Fireseed’s sacrifice, which sets the stage for two new protagonists—his siblings Danielle and Joseph. Players must stop the resurrection of the cosmic entity Oblivion, whose army of horrors threatens all of existence.

Unlike earlier titles, Turok 3 introduced a dual-character system, allowing players to experience different weapons, abilities, and story perspectives depending on which sibling they choose. It retained the atmospheric first-person shooting and exploration of its predecessors, while pushing the Nintendo 64 hardware with enhanced visuals, dynamic lighting, and improved AI. The game also included multiplayer modes, keeping the competitive split-screen tradition alive.
