DESCRIPTION:
Exelica and Crueltear are Triggerhearts, humanoid weapons displaced to Earth during a war against the autonomous Ver'mith forces. As they recover and begin accepting the unfamiliar planet as a refuge, the enemy follows through the unstable teleportation gate and attempts to make Earth its new base. The pair must fight again to protect their adopted home. TriggerHeart Exelica offers arcade shooting through several modes, including story, training and arranged challenges, with vertical-screen presentation available for the arcade experience. The setting gives its action a personal reason: two stranded fighters cannot return to the war they left, but refusing another invasion is still within their power.
