DESCRIPTION:
Captain Blake leads a rescue team into Antarctica to investigate the disaster at Outpost 31, only to encounter an alien capable of imitating the people it kills. The Thing follows the film's aftermath through a third-person survival-horror shooter where cooperation depends on more than giving orders. Monitor companions' fear and trust while using their abilities to solve problems and survive hostile environments. Guns, explosives and flamethrowers provide defence against the creature's many forms, but uncertainty over who remains human makes every encounter uneasy. Nightdive's remaster updates presentation and gameplay features while preserving the tension between squad reliance and the suspicion that your closest ally may be something else.
