DESCRIPTION:
A damaged colony ship is trapped near a black hole, its crew dead and its corridors occupied by mutants. Digital recordings of a security officer and engineer offer a final possibility of escape through bodies created by a clone printer. The Persistence combines stealth horror with repeated roguelike attempts to repair the vessel and restore its route home. Its rearranging deck modules create different layouts, preventing each new body from following an identical path. A weapon fabricator provides tools, but avoiding danger remains important when survival is uncertain. This PlayStation VR release makes the ship’s cramped spaces and threatening inhabitants the centre of the experience.
