DESCRIPTION:
Gollum’s search for what he lost carries him through experiences only partly explored in The Lord of the Rings. The adventure follows his time beneath the Dark Tower and among the Elves of Mirkwood, using stealth and agility rather than conventional heroic fighting. Climbing, leaping and finding hidden routes provide the main means of survival, with occasional opportunities for more treacherous actions. Decisions also reflect the struggle between Gollum and Sméagol, influencing which side of the divided personality takes greater control. The journey presents familiar Middle-earth through an outsider whose desperation, caution and cruelty make him a very different protagonist from its better-known heroes.
