DESCRIPTION:
Every survivor in The Last Stand: Aftermath is already infected, making an expedition into civilisation’s ruins a limited opportunity rather than a permanent escape. You search for fuel, equipment and materials while avoiding or fighting the zombies still occupying the streets. Mutations can provide additional strength at the cost of moving further toward the condition threatening your life. When a survivor dies, progress unlocks options for the next person to attempt the journey. The roguelite structure turns repeated loss into a gradual improvement of the group’s prospects. Crafting and cautious exploration remain important because even an increasingly capable character cannot remove the danger already inside their body.
