DESCRIPTION:
Joel accepts a job escorting fourteen-year-old Ellie out of a military quarantine zone, expecting another difficult but manageable task in a broken world. Their journey instead carries them across a devastated America, facing infected creatures and survivors whose desperation can be equally dangerous. The relationship between the pair develops through moments of conflict, protection and reluctant trust. Rebuilt for PlayStation 5, Part I revisits the original single-player story with updated environments, animation, controls and accessibility features. The included Left Behind chapter explores an earlier part of Ellie’s life and her friendship with Riley, adding context to the girl Joel must protect.
