DESCRIPTION:
Art the Clown turns movie production into a blood-soaked rampage in a retro-inspired scrolling beat ’em up. Each stage takes place on a set where filmmakers are making a story about the notorious character, and your goal is to wreck their work through violent confrontations. Bright pixel art and animated exaggeration translate the horror series into an arcade setting influenced by games from the eighties and nineties. The action places Art at the centre of the mayhem rather than asking you to escape him. Dark humour, cinematic locations and deliberately excessive violence shape a game aimed at fans of the films’ distinctive villain.
