DESCRIPTION:
Mario travels beyond the Mushroom Kingdom to stop Bowser’s wedding plans, using Power Moons to keep the airship Odyssey moving between kingdoms. Super Mario Odyssey builds its three-dimensional adventure around exploration and the abilities of Cappy, a new companion who can be thrown, jumped from and used to capture objects or enemies. Those temporary forms change how particular areas are navigated. Places such as New Donk City provide contrasting environments filled with costumes, secrets and unusual interactions. The flexible structure rewards curiosity about what might be hidden above, below or around the direct route. Mario’s familiar movement becomes the starting point for discovering what each new kingdom makes possible.
