DESCRIPTION:
Speed 3: Grand Prix presents open-wheel racing through an accessible arcade style rather than a detailed simulation. Fast circuits around the world provide changing conditions, with weather and time of day affecting the visual setting. Contact and explosive crashes are encouraged, making rivals obstacles that can be displaced as well as passed. Two-player split-screen adds a direct local contest, while simple handling keeps the focus on speed and immediate reactions. The exaggerated approach turns familiar Formula-style machinery into a more combative competition. Success depends on controlling the pace well enough to survive the chaos being created around the car and still reach the finish ahead of the opposition.
