DESCRIPTION:
Sonic and a broad cast of familiar characters race through courses that can suddenly lead into another dimension. Travel Rings change the environment during an event, adding an unpredictable transition to the usual contest for position. Build a vehicle around your preferred approach and equip gadgets that adjust its racing possibilities. Items provide opportunities to disrupt rivals or recover from a poor start as the field moves across land, sea, air and stranger spaces. Solo and team-based formats give different contexts to the competition. The central idea connects vehicle customisation with the need to adapt when a race leaves its original course and arrives somewhere new.
