DESCRIPTION:
Sonic Mania returns to two-dimensional Sonic platforming with new zones, reimagined favourites and a pixel-art presentation inspired by the series' earlier years. Play as Sonic, Tails or Knuckles, using their different movement abilities to reach routes and secrets within the stages. Sonic's Drop Dash adds another tool for maintaining momentum, while flight and climbing give his companions their own advantages. The adventure pits the heroes against Dr. Eggman's robots and a selection of inventive bosses. Learning the branching layouts and carrying speed through their obstacles provides lasting appeal, combining the familiarity of classic Sonic with new surprises designed around its fast, expressive style of play.
