DESCRIPTION:
Sonic Generations celebrates the hedgehog's history by pairing two versions of Sonic with two approaches to familiar stages. Classic Sonic tackles side-scrolling routes using moves such as the Spin Dash, while Modern Sonic brings boosting and homing attacks to three-dimensional sections. Locations from different eras of the series are reimagined so that each hero experiences them in a distinct way. Learning the routes, avoiding hazards and improving your times give the stages lasting appeal beyond a first successful run. Familiar characters and discoverable extras reinforce the celebration, making the adventure both a nostalgic revisit and a contrast between Sonic's evolving styles of play.
