• Compatible: Band Hero and Guitar Hero 5–style PS3 drum kits, including the identical/rebranded five-lane Guitar Hero kit.
• Not compatible: The earlier Guitar Hero: World Tour PS3 drum kit, which requires its own matching receiver.
• Not compatible: Any Rock Band drum kit. Rock Band drums use Harmonix receivers and a different wireless protocol.

Important distinction: a Rock Band drum kit may work in certain Guitar Hero games, but it must still connect through its own Rock Band drum dongle—not through a Band Hero dongle. Activision confirms this game-level instrument compatibility, but it does not make the receivers interchangeable.
