Game Description Resistance: Burning Skies puts players in the role of Tom Riley, a New York City firefighter, during the initial Chimeran invasion of the United States in the 1950s. The game is a unique spin-off from the main Resistance series, offering a new character and perspective on the conflict. It was one of the first major shooters to take full advantage of the PS Vita’s dual analog sticks, delivering a console-like FPS experience on a handheld. The gameplay is a fast-paced battle for survival, with players using a combination of traditional and new Chimeran-hybrid weapons to fight through a devastated New York City in search of Riley’s family.
