DESCRIPTION:
Raiden changes direction from its traditional scrolling format into a twin-stick shooter with threats arriving from every angle. Move the ship with one stick and aim independently with the other, managing the relationship between escape routes and targets throughout the battle. Level up during play to gain weapons and enhancements, combining upgrades into a build suited to the increasingly intense assaults. Aircraft from the original Raiden through Raiden V provide different options, while a challenge mode offers another test of control and survival. The new perspective keeps the series’ concentration on heavy firepower but places it inside a surrounding battlefield rather than a fixed upward advance.
