DESCRIPTION:
R-Type's spacecraft and alien conflict become the basis for turn-based tactical campaigns in R-Type Tactics I • II Cosmos. Command forces through branching missions rather than relying entirely on immediate shooting reactions, considering how different units contribute to the wider battle. Multiple factions provide separate perspectives on the universe and the origins of the Bydo Empire, while the second game's story creates further choices of route. Remade visuals bring the former portable releases to modern systems, with competitive options adding another application of the strategic rules. The collection offers a different pace within a familiar science-fiction setting, making preparation and command decisions the central means of survival.
