DESCRIPTION:
An evil Dark Lord has stolen the world's light, leaving one adventurer to retrieve it through dangerous, changing dungeons. Choose a Warrior, Wizard, Assassin, Shaman or an additional unlockable hero, then explore turn by turn while gathering equipment and learning skills from discovered tomes. Shop visits offer opportunities to trade and prepare before confronting further bosses and quests. Quest of Dungeons combines a sixteen-bit appearance with procedural layouts and permanent defeat, making careful decisions important even during apparently minor encounters. Difficulty and mode choices alter the challenge, while the shifting weapons and environments encourage adapting to what an expedition provides rather than expecting one reliable route.
