DESCRIPTION:
Survive humanity's failed assault on the Strogg homeworld and continue the mission through fortified alien installations. Quake II combines forceful first-person shooting with a military science-fiction campaign against the machinery threatening Earth. This enhanced release updates models, lighting, enemy behaviour and presentation while retaining Sonic Mayhem's heavy soundtrack. The Reckoning and Ground Zero mission packs extend the conflict, with Call of the Machine and Quake II 64 adding further campaigns to explore. Supported cooperative and competitive modes provide alternatives to solo play. Its broad package follows the original game through several interpretations of the Strogg war, offering substantial variety within its fast, weapons-driven action.
