DESCRIPTION:
Colonel Kernel and the Popcorn Rocket crew defend the galaxy against the Nebula Empire in a deliberately ridiculous arcade shooter. Enemy spacecraft take inspiration from food, turning familiar space battles into clashes with pies, berries and cupcakes. Different popcorn flavours supply distinct weapons, including spreading shots, homing attacks and powerful blasts. A special kernel attack starts combinations that can remove several enemies while increasing points and rewards. Top-down action and retro-influenced music give the game an old arcade rhythm, while voiced characters deliver food-related jokes throughout the campaign. Choosing the right weapon and keeping combinations going are central to surviving the Empire’s edible fleet.
