DESCRIPTION:
Miho began life as a fox in Korea, carrying the memory of a kind traveller into a much longer search. Please Be Happy brings her to a fictional Wellington on a floating New Zealand, where she is now more human than animal but still struggles to understand people. Library owner Juliet and aspiring writer Aspen offer experiences different from the cruelty she has previously encountered. The slice-of-life visual novel develops those relationships through a warm fantasy setting. Miho’s abilities have helped her survive as a thief, but friendship introduces another possibility. Her journey becomes less about only finding the person from her past and more about recognising kindness in the life around her.
