Game Description Pikmin places players in the role of Captain Olimar, a tiny alien pilot who crash-lands on a mysterious planet (heavily implied to be Earth) and needs to recover 30 lost parts of his spaceship. The catch is that his life support can only last for 30 days. To help him in his quest, Olimar discovers a species of plant-like creatures called Pikmin, who will follow his every command. The game requires players to manage a large group of up to 100 Pikmin, using their unique abilities to overcome obstacles, defeat hostile creatures, and carry the heavy ship parts back to his ship. It’s a charming and unique blend of strategy, adventure, and puzzle-solving, all wrapped in a race against the clock.
