DESCRIPTION:
Android soldiers 2B, 9S and A2 fight to reclaim an Earth occupied by machines after humanity has been driven away. NieR: Automata uses that apparently clear conflict as the starting point for a story that gradually questions the history and purpose of both sides. Fast weapon combat sits within a role-playing structure, with levels, skills and configurable equipment changing how each character fights. Support Pods add further attacks and abilities, while a damaged open world contains optional quests alongside the central campaign. Exploring its settlements and ruins reveals more than military objectives, making the war a route toward unsettling truths about the world and those living within it.
