Game Description

Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (PlayStation 2) is the ultimate culmination of the Mortal Kombat franchise’s original timeline, bringing together almost every character from the series’ history into a single, massive roster. Released in 2006, the game features an unprecedented lineup of over 60 fighters, spanning from the original Mortal Kombat up to Deception, including both iconic warriors like Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden, as well as obscure and fan-favorite characters rarely seen in the spotlight.

The game introduces the Kreate-A-Fighter system, allowing players to build their own custom combatant with unique appearances, fighting styles, and moves. It also features a Kreate-A-Fatality mechanic, where players can chain together gruesome finishing moves for personalized, over-the-top executions.

In addition to traditional arcade combat, Armageddon includes the Konquest mode, a story-driven adventure featuring the character Taven as he embarks on a quest to decide the fate of the realms. The game also offers Motor Kombat, a chaotic kart-racing minigame featuring Mortal Kombat characters in unique vehicles, adding a lighthearted spin to the otherwise brutal series.
