DESCRIPTION:
A derelict cargo ship becomes an unpredictable prison in Monstrum. Generated layouts change the environment between attempts, while different AI-controlled monsters create separate forms of pursuit. Tools found aboard offer possible ways to escape or mislead an enemy, but no location can be assumed safe for long. Permanent death means a failed attempt starts the survival problem again rather than resuming from a comfortable position. The horror depends on interpreting sounds, routes and the particular behaviour of the creature hunting you. Progress comes from learning how the ship’s systems and available objects might create an exit while keeping enough distance to reach it alive.
