Game Description Metroid Prime places players in the boots of bounty hunter Samus Aran as she investigates a distress signal on the planet Tallon IV. The game is a “first-person adventure” rather than a traditional first-person shooter, with a heavy emphasis on exploration, puzzle-solving, and backtracking. Samus must traverse a vast, interconnected alien world, gradually unlocking new abilities and upgrades to her Power Suit that allow her to access previously unreachable areas.
