DESCRIPTION:
The familiar fighters of Metal Slug move from side-scrolling action into squad-based tactical encounters against Morden’s forces. Select a team whose skills complement one another, then use planning, movement and concentrated firepower to control each battle. Successful engagements provide experience, weapons and perks that broaden your options for later missions. Roguelite elements make repeated campaigns develop differently, encouraging new team combinations and approaches rather than one permanent strategy. The game retains the original series’ exaggerated military personality and explosive energy while changing how you direct it. Victory depends on turning the squad’s individual abilities into a coordinated answer to each encounter’s layout and opposition.
