DESCRIPTION:
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe brings the Wii U racer’s tracks and additional content into an expanded Nintendo Switch package. Familiar characters return alongside guests such as the Inklings, offering many choices for races through colourful courses. Items can disrupt a rival or protect a position, making timing part of defending a lead. Revised Battle Mode uses new and returning arenas for a different kind of competition outside the usual finish-line objective. Up to four players can share local split-screen sessions. The appeal combines learning effective lines through a course with adapting when an item, opponent or unexpected collision changes the plan just before the next corner.
