DESCRIPTION:
Dimensional folds scatter pilots and songstresses across space and time, bringing characters from different parts of Macross history to the Battle 7. Their arrival begins a galaxy-spanning effort to rescue missing singers and understand the crisis connecting them. Shooting stages change perspective between horizontal, vertical and full-circle scrolling, asking you to adapt your movement and targeting as missions develop. Synchronising with songstresses provides effects such as stronger firepower, improved manoeuvrability or slower enemy shots. Six intersecting stories combine the franchise’s aircraft combat and musical identity, making support from the singers part of both the narrative and the practical approach to surviving its battles.
