DESCRIPTION:
Artists, performers and writers confront destructive obsessions in a collection of connected psychological horror stories. Explore the Painter’s unstable Victorian home, revisit its history through his family and step aboard the ocean liner used as a film set in Layers of Fear 2. This release brings those experiences and their additional chapters together with the Writer’s story, which creates links between the separate narratives. Shifting spaces and disturbing discoveries turn exploration into an examination of the characters’ memories and fears. Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game revisits the series with updated lighting and visual effects that support its unsettling first-person atmosphere.
