DESCRIPTION:
Grow a hamlet into a prosperous city while preparing the defences needed to survive a dangerous world. Arrange homes, services and production so residents remain fed, healthy and happy, then balance taxation against the resources required for a stronger castle. Winter shortages, disease, Viking raids and dragon attacks threaten different parts of the plan, demanding more than simple expansion. Churches, taverns and festivals support morale, while woodcutters and other workers provide materials for further construction. The simulation connects the everyday needs of a population with the larger problem of security, making good urban planning the basis for both attracting newcomers and keeping existing residents alive.
