DESCRIPTION:
Take control of a Major League Baseball team in a simulation that gives pitching, batting and game management equal importance. Select pitches to change a hitter’s expectations, wait for a useful ball at the plate and manage runners when a safe advance is more valuable than another gamble. Exhibition and season play provide different levels of commitment, while Home Run Derby and Two-on-Two Showdown focus attention on particular parts of the sport. High Heat Major League Baseball 2003 uses its licensed clubs and players to support a more considered contest, where changes to the lineup or bullpen can matter as much as one powerful swing.
