DESCRIPTION:
God of War III follows Kratos as his conflict with the Olympian gods reaches a violent conclusion. The adventure blends close combat, environmental puzzles and traversal with enormous mythological set pieces, often placing the player against enemies far larger than the surrounding scenery. Kratos gains weapons and abilities that provide different approaches to combat, while the familiar chained blades remain central to the action. Greek mythology supplies the characters and locations, but the story presents them through the series' dark, confrontational perspective. Dramatic shifts in scale are a defining feature, moving from smaller encounters to battles involving Titans and gods across the collapsing world of Olympus.
