DESCRIPTION: EyeToy: Play is a motion-controlled party game designed for use with the EyeToy USB camera accessory on PlayStation 2. Instead of using a traditional controller, players interact with the game using their own movements captured by the camera. The game features a wide variety of mini-games ranging from boxing challenges and rhythm games to reflex-testing puzzles and interactive environments. EyeToy Play was one of the earliest examples of motion gaming on consoles and became hugely popular for family gatherings and parties. Its innovative gameplay helped pave the way for later motion systems such as Nintendo Wii and Microsoft Kinect.
