DESCRIPTION:
Dragon Star Varnir builds its role-playing battles around three vertical tiers, with party position changing how attacks affect the dragons encountered. Fighting fills a gauge that enables transformation, while devouring a weakened dragon opens that creature’s particular skill tree. Combining those abilities creates different development paths for the characters. Outside battle, three witches rely on supplied dragon blood, but feeding too little or too much can produce disastrous results. Decisions about their care influence the ending as well as the immediate rewards available. The adventure connects tactical positioning and unusual character growth with the larger goal of ending a curse whose consequences reach into the party’s relationships.
