Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World is a side-on fighting game for the PlayStation 2 that combines elements from previous Dragon Ball Z games:

Gameplay: Similar to Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, but with some gameplay elements removed. Players can block, punch, kick, grab, throw, and use key blasts. They can also dodge attacks by swaying back and forth, or teleport behind opponents by hitting the X button while pushing forward on the D-pad.
Story mode: Called Dragon Mission, this mode features a map with objective missions that retell battles from the manga and anime series. Players take control of a Goku avatar and complete missions such as endurance battles, mini games, and first-person shooters.
Customization: Players can customize their fighters by purchasing skills and adding them to a Skill Tray.
Characters: Players can control 42 characters from the Dragon Ball franchise.
Difficulty: Some say the game is very difficult and challenging, with a ruthless AI.
