DESCRIPTION:
DOOM: The Classics Collection gathers DOOM, DOOM II and DOOM 3 on one Nintendo Switch cartridge. The first two games establish fast first-person combat through demon-filled maps, with DOOM II expanding the weapons and carrying the threat toward Earth. DOOM 3 takes a more enclosed horror approach inside a Mars research facility overwhelmed by invasion. Together they show different stages in the series’ treatment of movement, weapons and atmosphere. This original-print cartridge requires an update to remove its initial digital-rights restrictions, as noted by the supplier. The collection is therefore both a set of complete campaigns and a comparison of how the same demonic conflict developed across generations.
