DESCRIPTION:
Rei and her younger sister Mirai are pulled into Purgatory, where saving Mirai requires a bargain with the demons who control the afterworld. Crystar follows Rei and other Executors as they fight hostile souls and confront the experiences that brought them there. Four playable characters reveal different memories and secrets during the action RPG journey. Grief becomes part of the battle system, providing power to summon a Guardian that fights beside you. Tears also help improve equipment, linking emotional pain with practical strength. The story turns Rei’s desperate rescue into an investigation of suffering, responsibility and the histories of her companions.
