DESCRIPTION:
Experience Contra's earlier run-and-gun history through a collection spanning arcade, home-console and handheld releases. Fight through waves of enemies, collect weapon upgrades and learn the patterns of large bosses in games including Super C, Contra III: The Alien Wars, Operation C and Contra Hard Corps. Regional releases such as Probotector and Super Probotector provide another perspective on the series' evolution. Solo play tests individual reactions, while supported cooperative entries let a friend share the pressure. A digital bonus book adds concept material, chronology and an interview, giving context to the demanding action. The collection brings several interpretations of Contra's explosive formula into one archive.
