DESCRIPTION:
Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection looks back at the bobcat mascot's unusual history through playable games and documentary material. Revisit adventures from several older systems, experiencing the changing approaches to platforming and presentation associated with the series. Save states and rewind provide additional ways to work through its more demanding sections, while scans of artwork, manuals and advertisements place the games in their original context. Interviews add perspectives on how Bubsy was created and received. The collection offers both the practical experience of playing the earlier releases and a retrospective view of a character whose reputation became part of the story of nineties gaming.
