DESCRIPTION:
Journey as the Destined One through a mythic landscape inspired by the Chinese classic Journey to the West. Powerful opponents stand between you and the truth behind an old legend, with their individual histories revealing more than their initial hostility suggests. Staff fighting forms the foundation of combat, supported by spells, transformations and magical tools that can be combined to suit different encounters. Equipment choices and mastery of techniques provide alternatives when a difficult enemy resists one approach. The adventure draws on Chinese mythology for its creatures, locations and stories, linking demanding battles with the discovery of personalities and motives beneath familiar legendary figures.
