DESCRIPTION:
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance brings the Forgotten Realms setting into an action role-playing adventure focused on direct combat and collecting equipment. Players choose from characters with different strengths and venture through dangerous locations filled with monsters, traps and treasure. Experience improves the hero's abilities, while new weapons and armour change how effectively they can survive the next encounter. The adventure begins around the city of Baldur's Gate before leading into a larger threat. Local cooperative play allows two players to travel together, sharing the action on the same screen. Its combination of straightforward combat, character growth and fantasy exploration suits shorter sessions as well as a longer shared campaign.
