The collection of the first and second volumes brings the story of the legendary game from the very beginning.

The plot of the game revolves around a man named Desmond Miles, he was captured by the Templars, which we can also know under the name Abstergo Industries, Desmond Miles was forced under duress to join a device called the Animus. This Animbus allowed Desmond to travel through time, thanks to the memories of his ancestors, in the first Assassin’s Creed he appears as the assassin Altair Ibn La´Ahad, in the second part as the Italian Ezio Auditore de Firenze, where he tries to reveal the connection to the battles between the Assassins and the Templars, about human mind and freedom.

Desmond Miles practically connects the past with the future in this series. In the very first episode, he was able to find the mythical Piece of Eden, in Czech, Kousek Ráje, i.e. the biblical one.
