DESCRIPTION:
An unfinished manuscript, an eviction and the news that your former partner is marrying someone else leave your character with little to lose. Always Sometimes Monsters begins a road trip to reclaim that relationship, but the choices made along the way determine what the journey becomes. Its role-playing structure emphasises people, work and emotional decisions rather than conventional fighting. Character selection includes different genders, backgrounds and sexualities, influencing some of the hardships and responses encountered. The story asks how far you will go for another chance and what that pursuit does to others. Progress depends on judgement and empathy as much as practical survival.
